She has been practicing clinical genetic counseling in India since graduating from Johns Hopkins University in 2008. She is a much sought after expert in a niche profession and, being the first genetic counselor in the country with a formal degree in genetic counseling, she is committed to establishing the genetic counseling profession in India.
Ramchandran's industry affiliations have included Eastern Biotech and Life Sciences in Dubai; Nutragene, Positive Bioscience, Mapmygenome in India. She had also consulted as a clinical Genetic Counselor at hospitals including Lilavati, Hinduja Healthcare, in Mumbai. Ramchandran takes great pride in her association with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), a non-profit organization where she is involved as a cancer genetics educator and volunteers her time and expertise as a cancer genetics consultant. She is often invited as an expert faculty to speak on medical genetics and genetic counseling at international and national conferences as well as workshops and patient advocacy groups."
She is a statistician with nine years of experience in the application of statistical techniques to genomic data, with particular expertise in writing R scripts, developing algorithms and establishing work-flows. As an agile statistician, her main contribution has been in understanding new data needs and hypotheses in order to design statistical plans and significance filters.
Keeping pace with changing genomic data generation platforms, she has analyzed data coming from various platforms including SNP genotyping, DNA-methylation, ChIP-chip, RT-PCR and RNA-Seq. and for various analyses such as developing gene interaction networks, class predictions, association tests, linkage analysis, haplotype analysis, copy number variations and survival analysis. She has established automated work-flows for all the services. She also played a major role in algorithm development for statistical modules of Microarray data analysis software Genowiz™ and Ascenta™.
Her recent contribution has been to facilitate organization’s initiative to develop personalized genomic services for Indian population. She has been involved in developing and evaluating methodologies for disease-risk predictions. She coordinates with a team of biologists to identify statistically significant SNP panels for various disease, traits and medications.

He is currently a Distinguished Professor at IIT Hyderabad and Cecil & Ida Green (II) Chair of Systems Biology Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to that, he was an Executive Vice-President at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) where he created the Advanced Technology Center. Earlier, he was the Founding Director of Center for Artificial intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), a DRDO defence lab in Bangalore. He is the author of 12 books and about 150 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a Fellow of The Royal Society. He has published several papers containing novel algorithms for biomarker discovery, and prediction of patient response in oncology.
Board Certified Genetic Counselor (ABGC)
Neeraja Reddy is certified genetic counselor (American Board of Genetic Counseling). She received her Master’s in Genetic Counseling from Brandeis University in 2015.
After her graduation, she joined the University of Pennsylvania where she helped establish the Penn Telegenetics Program. As a genetic counselor, she served patients from rural underserved communities and was actively involved in research to improve remote genetic counseling services (phone and real-time video-conferencing).
She has co-authored papers and presented in international conferences. She has also served as a member for the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
By bringing back her expertise and experience to India, she hopes to improve access and quality of genetic counseling services. In addition, she is also motivated to provide standard training to budding genetic counselors and expanding the field of genetic counseling."
Dr. G S Kochar is a renowned expert in the field of nutrition, wellness and pharmaceutical industries having over two decades of experience under his belt.
After completing his MBBS from JIPMER Chennai and DMM from IMT Ghaziabad, he ventured into the pharmaceutical industry with Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he was instrumental in bringing new products into the Indian market.
After that he joined Gufic Pharmaceuticals before embarking upon a long and illustrious career with VLCC in June 2000. Since then he has held many important positions in VLCC health care Ltd, VLCC Education and VLCC International LLC, finally retiring in 2016 as Head of Research, Technical Operations and Service Delivery at VLCC Health care Ltd.
During his 16 years with VLCC, Dr. Kochar managed to successfully deliver wellness and weight management solutions to millions across the world through dietary interventions. Having worked in challenging markets such as India, Sri Lanka, Middle-East and the CIS countries, Dr. Kochar is no stranger to staring challenges in the eye and emerging victorious from trying situations.
His staunch belief that right nutrition is vital to leading a healthy life, and his belief that genomics provide the right tools to enable that, he ventured into the field of Nutrigenomics.
Assistant Vice President, Product and Business Strategy
"Udbhav Relan is working as Assistant Vice President, Product and Business Strategy, at Mapmygenome India Limited - India's leading personal genomics and molecular diagnostics company.
After having done his B.Tech in Biotechnology from Delhi, Udbhav went on to pursue his MSc in Biotechnology and Enterprise from the University of Manchester, UK. Prior to working at Mapmygenome, Udbhav has worked on several research projects - he helped build a tool to conduct Virtual Biopsies, at the University of Calgary, Canada.
He worked on a project to develop stem cell based therapy for stress urinary incontinence, alongside Dr. Anthony Atala at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine, USA; Developed and optimised a protocol for the successful differentiation of human Embryonic Stem Cells (hESCs) into functional chondrocytes to tackle cartilage repair therapies at the University of Manchester.
Worked for 2 years at ICGEB in the field of malaria vaccine development under Padma Shri Prof. Virander Chauhan; and helped develop the Indian market for sequencing giants BGI (Beijing Genomics Institute). His interest in genetics, and his belief that genomics IS the future of healthcare, led him to Mapmygenome, where he is thrilled to be doing his part in helping the company transform a million lives through genomics by the year 2020."

Markson is Manager - Business Development at Mapmygenome. He is a seasoned manager with experience of over 19 years and expertise in business development, corporate sales, marketing, law and intellectual property.
His role in the sales lifecycle starts with market research and identification of potential areas for collaborative efforts with individuals and enterprises. With his deep knowledge of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Research domains, he analyzes laboratory workflows and designs possible solutions that Mapmygenome can offer to enhance their processes.
Markson has rich experience which he gained during his tenure at Ocimum Biosolutions in working with global customers such as GSK, Pfizer PMI, and Eli Lilly and research institutions such as NIST, NIH, John's Hopkins University, Baylor College of Medicine, and MIT.
Using his legal expertise, he also handles trademarks, patents, cross-border agreements, partnerships, etc. He is a Science Graduate and has done LLM - International Law, MBA, PGDCA, Basic Java from NIIT, PG Diploma in Cyber Law from NALSAR University, GCIP from WIPO, Six Sigma Green Belt Certified from Benchmark (RABQSA).

She plans, executes and controls Strategic HRM including Planning, Staffing, Developing, Monitoring, and Maintaining Resources. She is adept in creating an environment of teamwork, handling grievances, mediating workplace disputes and evaluating procedures & technology solutions. Vijaya is an out-of-the-box thinker committed towards growth of people within the organization. She has hands on experience in handling Competency Mapping, Discipline Management, Manpower Planning & Recruitment, Reward & Recognition System, Executive Development and Performance Management. Above all, Vijaya is an effective communicator with good interpersonal & relationship management skills and hands on experience in training and development of subordinates. Vijaya has a Master’s Diploma in Business Administration.
Technical Product Manager
A core member of the Mapmygenome product and scientific team, Rasika has a strong academic background in biotechnology (gold medallist) and over seven years of experience in genomics. After working extensively with sequencing, molecular biology, data curation, analysis and reporting, she helped develop wellness products in personal genomics. She is also one of the creators of our sports-genomics (MyFitGene) and pharmacogenomics (Medicamap) products. During a regular work-day, she is seen working on scientific content, SNP analysis, client/sales support and continuing product innovation. A certified fitness instructor herself, Rasika is passionate about spreading the awareness on predictive screening and preventive healthcare. She also believes that to #KnowYourself is the first step to better health - for life!
