⚠️ Critical Guidelines for Indian Swab Shipments

  • 🌡️ Temperature Control: Do not refrigerate or freeze the kit or the collected sample. Store and ship everything strictly at room temperature.

  • 🧪 Contamination Guard: When inserting the swab into the stabilization tube, ensure the swab tip goes straight in without touching the outer sides or rim of the tube.

  • ⏰ Pickup Cut-offs: To request a same-day pickup, please notify us before 11:00 AM. Standard courier pickups occur between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, subject to local courier availability.

  1. Kit Delivery: Your MapmyEpigenome kit arrives in discreet packaging. Inside, you will find sterile lancets, alcohol swabs, a blood collection card/tube, a band-aid, and a desiccant pouch.

  2. At-Home Blood Spot Collection: Follow the precise video or pamphlet instructions included in the kit to perform a quick finger prick. Apply the blood droplets to the designated circles on the collection card.

  3. The Drying Phase (Crucial): Before packing your sample, allow the blood spots to air-dry completely at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Do not apply heat, blow dry, or expose it to direct sunlight.

  4. Schedule Your Priority Pickup: Once dry, place the card into the provided biohazard bag along with the desiccant pouch. Schedule your pickup immediately:

⚠️ Critical Guidelines for MapmyEpigenome Kits

  • 🚫 Never Moisture-Seal Wet: Ensure the blood card is 100% dry before placing it in the airtight plastic biohazard bag. Trapping moisture will cause mold and ruin the DNA/RNA stability.

  • 🌡️ Room Temperature Only: Do not refrigerate or freeze the blood card. Keep it away from extreme heat and moisture during storage and transit.

  • ⏰ Same-Day Request Cut-off: For the fastest transit, prick your finger in the morning and request your courier pickup before 11:00 AM.

  3. Mail the Sample Back (Self-Ship): Pack the sample securely. Because reverse international courier pickups are currently unavailable outside of India, you will need to ship the kit back to our headquarters using your local post office (recommended) or an international courier service.

    • Important: You must fill out and attach the Courier Declaration Forms included in your original kit package to prevent customs clearance delays.
