The genetic risk profile provided by Mapmygenome is intended for educational, informational, and preventive wellness purposes. It is not diagnostic in nature and should not be treated as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

A "High risk" indicator for a specific condition does not mean an individual will definitively develop that condition now or in the future. Environmental, dietary, and lifestyle-related factors heavily influence the overall clinical outcome of these conditions.

3. BILLING AND PAYMENT TERMS

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept secure online payments via major Credit Cards, Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI, Net Banking, and verified digital wallets.

  • Transaction Currency: All transactions on this website are processed exclusively in Indian Rupees (INR).

  • Taxes: All product prices listed on the website are fully inclusive of all applicable domestic taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless specified otherwise.

  • Checkout Security: All payment information is processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. Mapmygenome India Limited does not store or have access to your private credit/debit card numbers or net banking credentials.

4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

  • Shipping Costs: We offer FREE standard shipping for all genetic testing kits across India.

  • Order Handling & Dispatch Time: Orders placed before 3:00 PM IST are dispatched on the same business day. Orders placed after 3:00 PM or on holidays will be processed and dispatched on the next business day.

  • Transit Time: Estimated delivery of the physical testing kit to your preferred shipping address is 2 to 5 business days PAN India.

  • Sample Collection Pickup: DNA sample collection (buccal swab or saliva) can be completed in the privacy of your home. Once your sample is ready, contact us via email or phone, and we will arrange a FREE reverse pickup via our logistics partners within 1 to 2 business days (available PAN India).

  • International Orders: For orders outside India, a standard one-way shipping fee of $50 USD is applied. International customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping of their collected sample back to our laboratory in India.

5. 7-DAY RETURN, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer an explicit 7-day return policy subject to the criteria outlined below:

  • Return Window: You have exactly 7 days from the date of physical delivery to request a return and a refund for your kit.

  • Eligibility Criteria: Due to strict health, hygiene, and medical safety regulations, returns are accepted only if the physical testing kit is completely unopened, unused, tamper-free, and inside its original packaging. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for kits that have been opened or modified.

  • How to Initiate a Return: To request a return within the 7-day window, please email our support team at info@mapmygenome.in with your order number and invoice.

  • Return Shipping Cost: Mapmygenome will arrange a complimentary reverse pickup for approved return requests through our authorized courier partners.

Deductions & Refund Rules:

  • Preventive Genomics Products: If a valid return/cancellation request is made within 7 days and prior to our lab receiving your sample, a standard deduction of Rs. 1,000 per product is applied to cover kit components, logistics, and handling fees. The remaining balance is refunded once the unused kit is received and inspected at our facility. Once you are notified that your sample has reached our lab, the order becomes strictly non-refundable.

  • Clinical Genomics Products: A deduction of Rs. 1,000 per product applies for cancellations made within 2 hours of sample collection. A deduction of Rs. 1,500 applies for cancellations made within 24 hours of collection. After 24 hours from sample receipt at the lab, clinical orders are entirely non-refundable.

  • Kit Expiry: Customers must ship their collected samples back to our laboratory within 6 months of kit delivery for processing.

Refund Processing Time:

Once your return kit is verified at our facility, approved refunds are processed automatically. The amount will be credited back to your original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days.

6. SAMPLE QUALITY AND RESAMPLING (CLINICAL SAMPLES)

If a clinical sample contains an inadequate quantity or quality of DNA to successfully run the test, we offer a resampling kit at a nominal cost of Rs. 500. If the customer chooses to cancel the order instead of resampling, the following rules apply:

  • 100% Refund is provided if the sample fails our preliminary visual check.

  • Rs. 1,500 is deducted if the sample fails our internal laboratory quality check.

  • 50% Refund is provided if the laboratory technical processing fails due to verified procedural limitations.

7. PRIVACY, DATA SECURITY & INFORMATION USAGE

Respecting your data privacy is a core principle at Mapmygenome.

  • Information Collected: We collect demographic details, IP addresses, and browsing behaviors from website visitors. Registered users and purchasers provide names, email addresses, contact numbers, and billing/shipping addresses. Customers purchasing genetic tests also fill out a health history questionnaire.

  • Data Usage: We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third-party mailing lists. Information is strictly utilized to process your orders, fulfill test services, evaluate feature performance, and communicate important product updates.

  • Genetic Data Security: Your health and genetic records are treated with the highest confidentiality and are stored securely within Biotracker, our secure Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Before any physical sample enters our testing laboratory, it is de-identified and assigned a randomized unique ID code to prevent unauthorized internal or external access to your identity.

  • Research Consent: De-identified data may be used for aggregate statistical research and scientific analysis only if explicit, voluntary consent is provided by the customer during sample registration.

  • Legal Disclosures: We do not disclose personal information to unaffiliated third parties unless explicitly required by applicable Indian laws or judicial orders. If a test is ordered through an authorized channel partner or prescribing healthcare provider, they will have shared access to your clinical reports.

8. GENETIC RAW DATA POLICY

Mapmygenome India Limited does not share, distribute, or download genetic raw data files for any of our preventive genomics or ancestry product offerings. For Clinical Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and Whole Exome Sequencing, raw data access is restricted and only provided under specific clinical evaluation protocols.
